okay so my dad collects watches
my dad also buys my brother watches
I love watches
I havn't been bought a watch

SOLUTION
Gucci men's 101G Series Chroograph watch
basically all I can think about since I saw it on amazon.com for $999
so now I can either
.
a. wait for dad to acknowledge that girls can be bought watches by their fathers too
(a.k.a 21st present, although that won't be until 2011)
.
or
.
b. buy it for myself and gain the satisfaction of owning a Gucci watch by my own means
.
I quite like the latter, however it.is.a.lot.of.money.a.lot.
no impluse buy can justify this so many pros and cons will be weighed up
$999 can buy anything and do I want to spend it on this?

Mum's = lots of small purchases
Dad's = a few LARGE ones (this most definitely qualifies)
